Starting Monday September 28th, all stops on Idaho and Main for route 8 will be open, except outbound stop at Main & 27th.

Starting Saturday September 26th, all stops on Idaho and Main for route 7 will be open, except outbound stop at Main & 27th. Outbound stop at Fairview & Orchard will be closed with temporary stop placed long.

Tim has been a Transit Operator for 14 years. Helping others is very rewarding to him!

Tim loves being a Bus Driver/Pontoon Operator. He loves that his passengers know him and they call him by name. He has been a Transit Operator for 14 years. Helping others is very rewarding to him! When Tim isn’t working hard at VRT he can be found soaking up some rays at Lake Havasu on a jet ski or a pontoon.

Karri loves the fact that each day she gets to meet new people, but also that she gets to establish relationships with her regular passengers.

Karri loves the challenges of being a bus Operator! If Karri is not on a bus, you can find her floating the Boise River!

Karri loves the outdoors and helping people. One of Karri’s favorite parts about being a bus operator is that it is constantly changing. New people, new routes, new destinations! Karri loves the fact that each day she gets to meet new people, but also that she gets to establish relationships with her regular passengers.

Bizuri’s favorite thing about driving for VRT is getting to help people. He understands what it is like to be in a strange place and wants to welcome people and help them find their way.

Bizuri loves to drive the 5! He loves all our routes and loves getting people to where they are going safely! He is a 10 year Boise resident. He loves living in Idaho and meeting new people as he takes them to their destination.

Bizuri originally immigrated to Idaho from the Republic of the Congo. He loves living in Idaho where his family is safe and happy. He enjoys the social aspects of Boise and the peace of the United States. His favorite thing about driving for VRT is getting to help people. He understands what it is like to be in a strange place and wants to welcome people and help them find their way.

Angel - Valley Ride Operator

Angel P.

Angel is 75 years old and lives by his personal motto, “Never stop working, or you’ll start dying.”

The favorite thing about Angel’s job is the satisfaction in knowing that he’s helping and making the riders’ life better than it was where they came from.

Angel was born and raised in Texas and came to Idaho in 1962. Angel has six children and several grandchildren.

Angel is an Army Vet, serving with the 9th Infantry Division in Vietnam from 1967 – 1970. He received the Bronze Star with V Device for his valor.

While in Idaho, Angel has always been an ‘outside’ person. He’s worked on several different farms, ranches and dairies, working with animals and crops. He also worked as a truck driver before working as a Village Van driver.
